Spring Fun Comes to TCCA & Owego!

Put a “spring” in your step and come to Owego this weekend for some great events. This Friday night’s ArtWalk showcases works by local artist Marian Simpson from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Stop by TCCA to meet Marian and see her gorgeous watercolors. Many other places will be open too, including the Black Cat Gallery, Gallery 41, and the Riverow Bookstore. Grab a bite to eat beforehand at Doug's Fish Fry, which will be stationed at the Valu Home Center parking lot on Route 17C. Proceeds from the fish fry will benefit the Viviana Pena scholarship fund. On Saturday night swing your partner and get your jig on at our Round and Square Dance at the Owego Elks at 7:00! Sunday is jam-packed with events as well. Shop til you drop at the Elks Emporium anytime between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. At 3:00, head over to the Presbyterian Church for our “Always on Sunday” series. This month's concert features folk musicians Phil Shapiro & Carrie Shore. From 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tioga Trails is hosting a Contra Dance featuring the Ithaca-based Contradictions quartet.
